Difference in Corkscrews!

So I just bought a six pack of the corkscrew nose rings, and after fighting with trying to get them in(never got them in), I noticed that two of the six turn an opposite direction. Why is that? How do I know which to use? Does it even make a difference?

As you can see in the picture, one is going to the left, and the other is going to the right. There is even a difference in the bend.

I have only ever use corkscrew ones, and I've had absolutely no issues. maybe the needle the pierced it with was slightly smaller then the width of the stud you wanna put it.

So which one is which? I fought with the one on the left and finally got it in early this morning. :) My nose piercing is on the left.

1 is for left nostril and the other is for right nostril. :-)
