How do people with nose piercings blow their nose?

1) We do it the same way everyone else does. I wear a hoop in my nostril piercing, and I don't have any trouble. The hoop gets pushed against the outside of my nose and springs back to its original spot when I move the tissues. If someone has a stud in their nostril, they may need to be a little gentler because the part that goes inside the nose is shaped like a corkscrew and takes up a little space. If you press too hard on the nose, the inside part of the stud will press against the septum. If someone has a septum piercing, they shouldn't have any problems blowing their nose, either. When blowing one's nose, more pressure is on the nostrils rather than the septum, so those with a septum piercing probably don't have much trouble.

2) Usually with a tissue? Nostril piercings don’t interfere with blowing your nose at all. If you have a SEPTUM ring, you just have to avoid pulling on it. It still won’t interfere with blowing your nose.

I will say though, that when you have a runny nose for whatever reason - whether you’re sick or have allergies or whatever - a septum ring will make it so much worse. When my nose is runny I just take my septum ring out until my nose gets its shit together.
