I pierced my nose at home

Ever since I was 16, I have wanted to pierce my nose so badly! I turned 17 on June 14,2015. I decided "hey I'm gonna go to a piercer and see how much it costs to get it." So I went and they said 50 dollars. I was like NO. so I decided to order a full piercing kit , it arrived and I pierced my nose. It was a Claire's stud I think. I've been taking care of it but I think its a little short, I feel like the piercing sinks in from the inside. I REALLY don't want it to close. What do I do?
