My Nose Ring is stuck and it is embedded into my nose and completely stuck on the inside.

Question1: My nose ring is stuck and embedded into my nose and completely stuck on the inside. Is this a doctor situation or piercer situation?

If you have no horrendous infection inside or outside of your nose, go back to the piercer. The piercer should be able to free up your nose ring, and put it back, if you want it put back in. Also, the piercer will clean your nose, etc. The piercer should do all this free of charge, depending on how long you have had your nose pierced, and tell you again, or give you another hardcopy of instructions for the care of your particular piercing.

If your nose is in trouble, go to an urgent care center without delay. They will be able to help you.

I suggest if you want the nose ring in your nose again, talk to the piercer before, if you go to seek medical care.

Doctor 100%. You could lose a lot of blood if anything goes wrong when they try to take it out and your nose could potentially be disfigured….you definitely need medical attention.

Go visit your piercer. We're good at stuff like this! In the mean time go for a hot shower, or use a hot flannel (comfortably hot, do not use water hot enough to scald you or inflict pain). This softens up the skin and surrounding tissues making them more pliable. I'm guessing it's either a nose bone, or the stud is either shaped in a spiral or bent at an angle to prevent it falling out. Failing t by at, your piercer can use a needle to help remove the jewellery similar to when you got pierced.

This happened to me with my nose. I went to a piercer and basically they just used their own force to push it through again. It’s hard to do that to yourself when you know there will be pain. So it’s best to let them do it before it gets worse. The sooner you go in, the more likely they are to be able to do that quickly instead of starting all over and repiercing it. Good luck!

Question 3: My nose ring is stuck in my nose.

Got my nose pierced five years ago. Had no problems, until Oct 2015 when the ring just wouldn’t move around in the hole, and couldn’t get it out either. I just sorta left it as it wasn’t causing any pain or anything and I had no reason to remove it. Now it’s causing me a bit of pain, similar to the pain I had after first getting it pierced but I am slightly worried about not being able to remove it. Should I go to a piercer to have a look at it or a doctor? Also there’s no pus or anything so I’m not overly concerned about it being infected, yet. Any help is much appreciated!

Also, has anyone ever experienced this or have any idea why it’s became stuck?

I think going to a piercer and having them try to remove it would be your best option. If they can't, that might be when it's time to go to a doctor.

Are you wearing a seam ring? I’ve seen a few cases where the seam ends up in the hole and if it’s not quite closed the piercing heals through the gap, resulting in not being able to rotate it. Only thing I can think off. If so a piercer can remove it, you’d just need to pull the sides of the ring apart (tends to ruin the shape of the ring but if it has healed up in the gap you won’t really need it)
