Nose/nostril / jewlery type ratio

I have (what most would consider) a larger sized nose. I have had my nose pierced for 3 months now with the hoop that my piercer put in. I'm trying to find any information/help as to what type of jewelery is recommended for different nose sizes. Thanks!

Dear Haggan, there is no standard for what you are asking. It all depends on how comfortable your are with it. You should try few type and size until find one the make you feel proud of yourself!
You got do some research and look at pictures of others with nose piercing.

going with a stud for your initial piercing is your best bet. "This typically causes less immediate stress and is a bit harder to play with for those who may be inclined to rotate a ring." Look for studs with a gemstone between 1.5 mm (sparkle) and 3 mm (bling).
