I am ranjith from Nagarcoil 24 years old. I am working in a IT company. I have elder sister she is married and settled in Chennai father a pensioner.we are from a middle class family. Now to the story my mom ganga is 53 year old was a village women. I remember her in my child hood days. She wore nose studs on both sides and had 6 or 7 piercings in each ear, silver anklets and toe rings. That is 20 years back.she was nice women with whitish complex . But after 20 years she wear one nose stud on rightside,and have only two ear studs in ear. But the old anklets and toe rings remain unchanged. I love my mom very much. Now we can see her old pierced marks on her nose and ears. I always had a crush to see her with the old elegancy. Once in a casual talk with her I asked her "mom why are you retired your piercing" she smiled at me. " Tell mom " I compelled her. She said" you know I am old, old ladies didn't want all these"
"No mom your age is not a age"
She said" I loved my piercings, but when you and sister growed big kids, I thought I getting old,as well your father insisted me to remove all that things. You see for wearing this earstuds I begged is permission" she caught her second earstuds. She continued " you see my anklets,that your dad likes very much so he didn't said me to remove this"
I looked at her feet,her finger nails are cut in perfect shape and applied red nail polish.
"But mom your anklets and toe rings are looking dirty" I said to her
" Son I never changed this for last 8 years it's about 10 years old" her face got gloomy. I asked her "if I buy new one will you wear it"
" Of course your are my son and you have to take care of your mom and dad"
" But if father denied "
"No son he will not because he likes it" I smiled at mom. I have salary o 1.5 L per month,so it's enough to buy new anklets for my mom. On next month I got salary. I gone to a jewellery shop and bought one set gold anklet for my mom they weight of 16gms all together and nights two set tourings. I reached home I called mom, dad also came . I hand over the box to her she opened it sitting next to dad. After seeing it she got surprised and " I never thought you will do it" and she showed dad " see our son bought new anklets. Dad said " it will be costly"
"Yes dad ,but I want mom happy"
He smiled at me. I told her"let me wear this on your feet" she said "sure of course"
Then she took her feet over the table I removed her old anklets on her feet and wore the new anklets and toe rings. She was very happy. Nextday was a Sunday. Morning mom came to my room with tea,her face is glowing if joy. She said" son your father likes my new anklets and toe rings very much he said it's suits me well" and she showed her feet to me. I told her" I know mom, he will like it" she sat next to me , I asked if you get your piercings will he become happy or not" she said " that I don't know,but when I had my piercings he loved very much". Afternoon when we are watching TV. Mom talked to dad, while sitting next to me" dear have to tell you some thing"
" What" dad asked her
" Will you allow me to re do my piercings"
" Ganga what the use of it you know your age"
" I know my age, but I want it" firstly dad got little angry after he agreed to mom. I smiled at her. Next Sunday sister came home mom showed her new anklets to her. My sister she is like mom,she had pierced her ear two times and have nose stud. After two months I again told mom about her piercing, that time daddy was OK. That month I got my salary and me and Mom gone for a shopping that time .she told me about the piercing. And we bought two set studs for mom and she got pierced on her old marks. When reached home she showed her new ear studs to dad. He just smiles didn't say any thing. Now she have 4 earstuds I each ear. Next month was their wedding anniversary . Mom said me secretly that to give daddy a surprise. That was to pierced her old piercings back. Then the anniversary date came. The day before it mom gone to shopping and she got her left nose and 3 new ear studs added. Retutned home dad got utter surprise. Mom was happy I seen mom on evening. She was like in young days have 7 ear studs, and both nose studs. I admired her beauty. The anniversary celebration was done well. After that I can see mom is more happy person. When she gets oil bath it's dad's duty to get remove he ornaments. I thought he also like it . One day dad wasn't home mom called me for that she said" son I want oil bath so I want to remove my ornaments". I said I will help her. The n started to remove. Her ear studs within minutes I removed her7 ear studs . She removed the nose studs. And didn't removed the anklets. After her bath I helped her to put it back. Now my mom ishappy .

I am a girl wearing two mookuthi from 2012 due to husband family they asked me to follow them so I got two piercing same day and big mookuthi inserted which already bought for me so no choice it covers my both nose wings since my nose was medium size every one feel pity at first now it's my dress code only on Friday I remove my stud with help of my mil and she replace after oil bath my friends pinch my nose when we meet I am just 24

Thanks for your response my husband saw me holder my face in his both hands for 3o minutes I felt shy because my mil watching us and said to my husband he is very lucky to get a wife with two mookuthi in young age so he can enjoy from the beginning of our married life my mil called other dil and adviced to follow me so soon she will get her nose pierced she was 6years elder to me my mom came to see me she got shocked to see me with big mookuthi in both nose she took me to my bed room and asked why your mil forced to pierce and wear big mookuthi on hearing her words I laughed and said no mom I only liked on seeing my mil she is looking handsome among all women in my marriage itself so I requested mil to buy same model studs for at last my mom kissed my fore head and asked me why I selected big size it will be heavy in nose i answered yes it weighs I can feel while bending down and my husbands like me with big mookuthi so I won't change and one more thing thick stem will be easy to remove and replace while oil bath on hearing my words my mom made me to lye in her laps and admired me and said my inner stud shunning inside my nose I said even my husband likes my inner stud he daily flips my nose wings I am enjoying this words makes my mom shy she took selfs with me on seeing the photo my mom face looks dull because she got small single stud in her nose at last she said she also wants pierce her left nose and wants to wear big besari like me I said ok go a head

My mil got rettai on seeing her nose I said I am interested in rettai mookuthi on hearing my words my mil bought Same size be sari mookuthi with multi stone 14 we went to Achari he took thick needle because of thick stem and he forced in my nose wings my mil holder my face my eyes watered on seeing my mil said one is enough so we returned home with right nose pierced but left nose looks more empty due the size on right side every one says same I again asked my mil when my left nose will be pierced my mi laughed and said I feel sad on seeing my tears I said give me stud I alone will go and get my piercing so she last week Friday she gave the stuff I went to Achari and sat in front he laughed at me and he called his wife to hold my face he pierced in left nose I shouted in pain after 10 minutes gap my mil came and saw me with two studs and relaxed she praised in front of all her relatives because her 1st dil not pierced even one side of her nose

archana i think that patti did 100 % right thing with the girls. In village s all girls are wearing nose studs. in my village also all ladies get their daughter s nose pierced in very much early ages around 5-8 years.reason behind it that they think it pains very less in early age and nose piercing heals quickly too. So it was your mothers duty to get u r nose pierced but she didn't and that patti did right thing for you. Now wear double nose studs with proud and for permanently. Trg wearing besthari it suits very nice to girls.

My name is archana residing in village.Two months before we went for a ear piercing ceremony for my uncle's son which was done in a temple. After the ceremony completed all the ladies group were sitting there gossiping. Suddenly a old age Patti asked why mostly all girls from your have not got their nose pierced.

Nobody answered her. She again started the topic and importance of mookuthi. How she got pierced due to fear. Including myself 4 girls were there with empty nose. She called the Achari who came here for the ceremony and asked him whether he can do nose piercing for these girls. He nodded his head. She then asked the girls mom whether she can proceed to make her daughter's wear nose pins. Everyone were fine with it. She soon arranged for the nose pins purchased from local jewellery shop.

My Amma forced me to get it done as they should respect elders words. So all the four girls were tuned to say yes for nose piercing.

After an hour time, we were made to sit on a wooden stool. Achari marked on our nose both sides. I questioned my mom y both sides. She asked me not to talk back and pinched my thighs.
The Patti asked us to cooperate for getting the beautiful look. Then Achari took the mookuthi inserted sum needle lik thing beneath the nose pin and pierced my right nose. I was screaming in pain. But they holded my hand and he screwed the inner thread tightly. I was about to get up but the ladies group pushed me down and pierced my left nose too. I was crying in pain. Atlast my nose was pierced with single stone mookuthi both sides.
I can see Patti was rejoicing my mookuthi and blessed me to get good life.

Similarly I heard other girls shouting and forced to wear double side nose studs.

iam a nose fetish woman i asked my mom for my nose piercing she not accepted since she herself not wearing nose stud so i am next genaration she laughed at me for nose stud interest at last i got married i begged my husband for my nose piercing he accepted with one condition i must wear two besari of big size he thought i will regret my desire but i said iam ready u get me what ever size i will wear on my nose then we both went to one shop he selected two besari each with 18 stones and we came to basement i sat in front of piercer he saw the bedari and asked in doubt really i can pierce for this size we both said yes then he selected big needle and pierced my nose with great force i creid due to pain atlast he screwed inside my nose i said its paining more so oneside is enough but my husband said obey your promise and get left side i kept quite the same way my left nose pierced and added the besari in both nose i can feel the weight of the jewels we returned home my eyes got tears that night on seeing my tears my husband asked me can i remove your besari one side i said i can bear

Hi I am Jaya.35 years wearing nose studs on both nostrils. My right nose was pierced when I was 11 years and I got married at 21 and when I was 28 I got my left nose also pierced when my husband was insisting very much. Iam from a village near madurai when iam studying 8th my mom took me to near by aunty house i dont know what for she asked me to wait there after few minutes one old lady came out my mom said to her we came to get my nose pierce i am shocked but my mom is very strict so kept quite that made me sit in front of her she took one stitching needle and inserted thread with two foldings and asked my mom to hold my head and she flipped my nose and stared piercing my eyes started watering she pierced and the needle came inside and she pulled the thread and tied knots and after finishing we waited for 5 minutes i thought my piercing is over but again my mom said ok now you pierce left side on hearing this my fear again started the same way she pierced left nose and tied the knot we returned home my eyes became red but no other way because all in my family and relative all got studs in both nose so its our custom to wear two nose studs after 20 days the threads are removed and broom sticks inserted i accepted with pain and again after every 8 days interval the sticks are replaced after 7th time my nose holes got big size and atlast my mom inserted two big nose studs besari model till now iam wearing the same
